According to a report in the Wall Street Journal, Apple is testing for larger screen sizes on the iPhone and iPad.
The phone size standards are set for over the iPhone?s current four inches wide. The dimensions would be similar to the Samsung Galaxy, which has a wide screen but a similar height to the iPhone.
The new iPad size is set to be around 13 inches wide, which is much larger than the current 9.7 inch screen.
Apple has not committed to changing the sizes on the next generation of any product. It was also noted that Apple will attempt to release a version of the iPhone at a more affordable price by using a cheaper, non-metal alternative for the phone?s casing.
